Whether you're celebrating a milestone, marking a new chapter, or simply deciding it's time to do something for yourself, Kefi is for women who want to experience Northern Italy in a more intimate, personal and unhurried way.

Kefi isn't about checking places off a list. It's about knowing where to go, who to know, and what's worth experiencing once you get there. After more than 30 years of traveling to Italy, together with Cinzia, Amy has developed relationships and an insider's perspective that take our guests beyond the obvious. We seek out the small producers, family-run restaurants, artisans, historic places and extraordinary landscapes that you're unlikely to discover in a guidebook. Every Kefi Journey is carefully curated—from the places we stay to the pace of each day—so you can experience Northern Italy with less planning, less rushing, and a lot more of what makes it special.

Kefi is a word of mixed origin that describes a spirit of joy, enthusiasm, and wholehearted enjoyment of life. It's the feeling of being fully present—of good food, good company, laughter, discovery and those unexpected moments that make you think, this is exactly where I'm supposed to be.

Kefi Journeys are thoughtfully paced. We want you to see and experience wonderful things without feeling as though you're racing from one activity to the next. There is time to linger over lunch, enjoy the view, wander, have a glass of wine, or simply do nothing. We believe how you experience a place matters as much as where you go.

Yes—and intentionally so. We don't believe every hour of a vacation needs to be programmed. Each Journey includes time to rest, explore independently, enjoy the hotel, read a book, have a spa treatment, or simply take in the view.

It's always fun traveling with a friend, but Kefi guests can feel confident traveling on their own too. If you plan to travel solo, you'll arrive independently, but once the Journey begins, you'll be part of a small group of women sharing the experience. We make it easy to settle in, connect naturally, and enjoy the Journey at your own pace.

We believe women should feel comfortable, confident and well cared for when they travel—and that begins long before you arrive in Italy. Kefi Journeys are intentionally small, with groups of just 8–10 women and never more than 12. Once you arrive at the Hotel, you'll travel together in a private luxury vehicle and be accompanied by both an American and Italian guide who are with you throughout the Journey. We carefully vet our accommodations, transportation, restaurants and experiences, and we build each day with thoughtful pacing rather than trying to squeeze everything in. Most importantly, you're never left to navigate the unfamiliar alone. There is always someone there who knows where you are, where you're going, and what comes next. That support allows you to relax, be present and truly enjoy the experience.

Once you book, the details are ours to manage. We coordinate the accommodations, transportation for all excursions, meals, reservations and the many little pieces that make a journey feel seamless. You'll receive clear information about what to expect before you leave, and once you arrive, you're supported by both an American and Italian guide throughout the Journey. Our goal is simple: you shouldn't have to spend your vacation figuring out your vacation. You simply show up, settle in, and enjoy Italy.

Accommodations, transportation for all excursions during the trip, all meals (excluding alcohol), and the points of interest on our itineraries are included. Airfare and transportation to the hotel or venue are not included.

We have varied itineraries with no unusual physical requirements beyond walking, climbing stairs, and encountering uneven surfaces. The itineraries will clearly communicate the activity levels, and I'm happy to field your questions as well.

Tell us before you arrive. We communicate dietary restrictions and relevant needs to our accommodations, restaurants and partners in advance so that, whenever possible, everything is arranged before you sit down at the table.

Northern Italy has a rhythm of its own—and occasionally, Mother Nature gets a vote. If weather or circumstances require a change, we'll make the adjustment. Because Kefi Journeys are carefully curated rather than rigidly scripted, we can adapt while preserving the spirit and quality of the experience.

Because Kefi Journeys are limited to 8–10 women, with a maximum of 12, space is intentionally limited. We recommend booking early, particularly for popular departure dates.

Kefi Tours was founded by Amy Keats, who has been traveling to Northern Italy for more than 30 years through her career in the textile industry.

Over those years, Italy became much more than a place she visited for business. Amy developed lasting friendships and an appreciation for the culture and traditions of Northern Italy. Perhaps most importantly, through her 30-year relationship with Cinzia, whom she met in the textile business, she was privy to an insider's understanding of the places and experiences that make the region so special.

She created Kefi to share that perspective with other women: intimate journeys that feel personal rather than packaged, luxurious without being pretentious, and filled with experiences you remember long after you return home.
