I had the great fortune to work in the Textile Industry for 30 years which allowed me to see many amazing parts of Europe while cultivating my travel bug. My training in textile design enhanced my eye for detail and my passion for curation. My curiosity and love for connecting with people inspires me to learn about and experience unique destinations, authentic local cuisines and the rich tapestry of cultures that make each place unique.
An important component of our time together will include LAUGHTER, though I take my commitments seriously and with great integrity, I am high spirited and ready to share good times with you!!

After a demanding career in the Textile Industry, I left to fulfill my passion for the great outdoors! A life long sports enthusiast, I enjoy cliff climbing, skiing, swimming and trekking in the amazing, unique, natural beauty of Italy!
In my desire to get off the beaten path, I knew my real passion was as your guide to the wonder of Italy's natural gifts. Join me in traveling to incredible destinations with beauty so spectacular it takes your breath away! Whether enjoying a hearty walk through a meadow, a little walk along a gentle path, gazing across a crystal clear glacial lake or taking in a sweeping view so vast you can't believe your eyes-my joy is in sharing this experience with you.

2004
This photo of Cinzia with my kids was taken in 2005-ish. No doubt-she had come to NY for the week with the fabrics of the new season and we would have run around New York like crazy people for the week prior showing the seasonal designs to our customers. Cinzia came to my home for the weekend before returning to Milan, she treated us to risotto barolo which was phenomenal-I mean who gets an Italian to make an authentic Italian dish in your own kitchen?! I think we went to the Philadelphia Museum of art that weekend(which is ALWAYS a great idea) and then to McNally's-an absolute favorite haunt of mine in Chestnut Hill.
2015
Here we are out to dinner with our dear friend Marc in Paris! The textile biz took us to Paris twice a year for many years to attend Premier Vision, one of the largest apparel textile shows in the world. The days were long, meals late but let me tell you-we had FUN! Trying to connect socially with friends and colleagues from NY was often easier in Paris-GO FIGURE!
2023
Road trip with Cinzia, Gabi,Rory and Lorenzo! This was 2023 in Milan as we were heading to to have fun in Bergamo for the day!! Laughter is THE COMMON THREAD for all of our times together!
2024
Let me introduce you to Rory whom you see in these photos! She's my travel buddy, trusted counsel on issues far and wide, a former competitor(yes, best friends can be competitors!) and beloved friend who has been cheering me on always but especially as I resurrected my dream and built this business🥹. Here we are with Cinzia enjoying an appertivo in Parco Sempione, Milano.
2024
Three great friends eating some of the best pizza I have ever had in Milan. This was taken this past summer(2024), as Cinzia and I embarked on our trip to pin down the details for our guests in 2025!! When I left the mill where Cinzia and I worked together, Rory took on my role and worked with Cinzia...we three are very close friends with deep connections. Having an export manager, friend, counterpart on whom you rely to be your eyes and ears on the other side of the world and who knows you so well to be able to act in anticipation of your needs is completely indispensible and rare. Rory and I were so lucky to forge such a relationship with Cinzia!

Kefi guides small groups tours in Italy (10-12 people) to off-the-beaten-path destinations. We focus on lesser-known spots away from the crowds, offering a unique, curated travel experience.
It means the spirit of joy, enthusiasm, high spirits, and frenzy, in which good times and passion for life are expressed with an abundance of excitement, happiness and fun!
In short-Kefi is kind of the personification of Amy Keats! I believe in FUN, in LAUGHTER, in JOKING around and being comfortable in our skins...if you don’t enjoy having FUN, this trip is not for you because we will be experiencing light heartedness and FUN!
Our trips are designed for individuals aged 30 and above who are in decent shape and would enjoy a daily walk /trek of 3-5 miles-no olympians here!
We keep our groups small, typically between 10 to 12 people, to ensure a personalized, intimate, interactive travel experience.
Our itineraries include a mix of outdoor activities like daily walks and gentle hikes, as well as visits to local attractions such as wineries, formal gardens, museums, castles, local wool mill, a traditional brewery. We’re also mindful to dedicate time to completely unwind and soak up the on-site spa for incredible relaxation and restoration.
We choose destinations that offer breathtaking natural beauty and rich cultural experiences. Our goal is to immerse our guests in the local traditions and way of life, providing a deep appreciation for each region we visit.
